good lord. listen i aint tryin to be a di*k but please look thorough the newbie section. it was designed for einsteins like urself. this quest has been covered about 150 times. and yes u will need speakers and a mixer. U must read how midi works and interacts with the mpc. it does not send sound, just messages like play this pad for this long and shut off. its like the old player pianos in westeren movies. Its just information and commands being sent through the wire. the audio has to come out and be routed from the planet phat.

dude. its very simple. u plug the keyboard into the mpcs midi in, u plug the midi out to the sound modules midi in. then u play ur keys and the device will play. now the device needs to be hooked up to where the mpcs audio outputs are hooked up. preferblly to a mixer that is connceted to speakers. think about it. Midi is like a remote control. no more then that. the keyborad is sayin to the mpc yo play note number 38 for 3 secs in the planet phat then shut it off. the planet phat is like aight and plays its note number for 3 seqs and shuts it off when the keyboard key is let go. It aint sendin the audio to them mpc and the mpc is just a magic box that does everything. it is a midi sequncer. do a search on MIDI or goto my website and go to the pro audio links, www.ruggedbeats.com for more midi info. but do urself a big favor and read the newbie bible in freq asked questions.

hey I want to get my beats to sound like the kind in new york new york but it's not turning out like I wanted, I tried sampling the synths they used at the start but that didn't help either.

but I got the track so how do I EQ the voice out to make an insturmental so I can steal the drums?

I have reason hooked up to my keyboard via midi but reson doesn't record the audio from the keyboard, so can someone tell me how to get audio into reason from my keyboard.

thank you

Chrono, if you joking, you are a comedic genius.
If not...'whoa'.
