Question....

I know you can load old files from old MPC's into the Touch...

But last night (just got Touch), I loaded up old beat from 1000, (complete project) and when I hit play in the Touch, it plays the sequence, but the sounds sound like clicks and they dont play completely, just the clicks.

Hopefully that makes sense?

It's like I can hear the pattern and everything playing but the sounds are just clicks.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

That's the sound of Akai employees doing a tap dance because they got another sale.

Thanks for the info....

I would assume the settings that were in my MPC 1000 would be identical in the MPC software, but I guess that's not the case?

Where do i go in the software to check those settings for oneshot/note off/envelope, etc?

JJos 2xl

If you used non destructive chop, that won't carry over to the mpc software.

Interesting....I couldn't tell you which I did use, I just use normal chop settings available in the jj os.

Which one is the default setting?

Well that kinda sucks but hopefully I can find out how to tweak it to work.

Thanks for the reply.
