any of the JJOS do the 'recycle' thing.. midi notes to track

I know chopping a sample will create the hits to pads as a program but any way to get the corresponding midi data sent to the track so you can see them/edit them? I know there is patched phrase but thats a bit different I think.

you would have to chop by single notes and than record whole thing with pads to get smooth sounding sample again, like it would be one.

or use jjchop on a computer to get the midi track.
