Effect Automation

Hello folks

Ok so I have this sample chopped indestructible into a program with 2 different effects on that program.

I want to set a delay on a specific pad but want it to trigger halfway through that pad not at the attack but halfway through the sample on that pad.

Is there a way to automate this? What is the easiest way to go about this. Thanks

Assuming you have your sequence recorded....do the following:-
1) Set the dry/wet function of your delay to q link 1
2) Top right on your screen click on the 'off'' and change to a red 'W' this means that most moves you make will now be recorded into automation.
3) Play your sequence and using q link 1 manually bring in the delay where you want.
4) Stop.
5) Click the 'W' until it returns to 'R'
6) Hit play and listen back.
7) You can adjust the automation if it doesn't sound right by either deleting the automation and playing it again or using the pencil feature and just redrawing it how you want.
