Hey,

I'm new to MPC Studio, i've recently purchased an MPC Touch. I've had the device working fully in Standalone mode when I have the MPC as my Audio Interface. But I want to use the MPC as an instrument within my DAW ableton.

I am using a Presonus Firestudio as my Audio Interface, and want to keep this as my sound card as it allows 5.1 surround and 8+ inputs. When I select MPC as an instrument in my DAW i can see signal within MPC studio registering on it's output meter, but no sound is coming out of the physical outputs on the MPC touch, I have routed the outputs to 2 inputs on my audio interface and armed the tracks...still nothing,

I also have not been able to use the sampling input, or looper feature at all since the first time i used it as a standalone,

If anyone has encountered these issues or knows where i've gone wrong please help, i'd like to avoid making an aggregate device if possible.

I'm not sure about it as an aggregate device.

When you use the MPC as a plugin the sound will come out of your daw. If Live uses the Presonus as an output, the sound of the MPC plugin will come out of the Presonus.

When sampling you should check the MPC preferences in standalone and make sure you have the Touch as the input.
