Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I need a hi-res line art picture of the 2kXL for some artwork I'm doing. I want to use a top view, like the one on page 4 of the manual (without all the numbers in dots), but a 3/4 view might also be usable.

It might be possible to take the image from the manual and work with that, but if anyone has a true .eps vector image or technical drawing, I'd much prefer to use that.

I can make you a top-view without the dots using the pic in the manual, and save that as an eps. file. That will take me about 20 minutes.

I could also start from scratch an do a vector-image, but that'll take me much longer. Perhaps we can work something out.......like you give me some samples or a few nice records you're not using, and i hook you up with a drawing.
I probably can't do any off this before the weekend though...

What do you need the drawing for anyway (just curious)?

I think I can do those things myself - export the image from the .pdf manual and edit out the dots. Or you can trace the whole image in Illustrator to get a scalable vector image (.eps) - which will indeed be a lot of work. But I was thinking that an image like that has to be around somewhere, so that's why I asked.
Thanks for the offer, anyway.

See the MPC in my avatar? I have a big one that's like 1000x1000 at 300dpi. It's the exact same as the one in the easter egg in the 2000XL. I might let you use it. Depends what you want it for.

Never mind. I exported the image from the .pdf manual (you need acrobat full for that, you can't do it with Acrobat Reader), and then brought the image into Photoshop. It gets rendered to pixels, but that's alright because you can specify the resolution and size so you can get it crystal-clear at any size, and the background is still transparent. I edited out the numbers, so now I have it at 25cm wide at 300dpi.

If someone has a true vector image or a 3/4 view, I'm still interested.

Alright. Now I would like the same thing for the SP1200. Anyone?
