REN OWNERS: REN FREEZING, CRASHING, DISTORTION. HELP ME!

I SEE I'M NOT THE ONLY REN OWNER, REPORTING THE REN, FREEZING, CRASHING, HAVING DISTORTION AND CRACKLING... IS THERE A WAY TO CORRECT THIS BEFORE I EXCHANGE MY RENAISSANCE FOR A NEW ONE?

I HAVE THE 1.9.4 UPDATE. THESE ISSUES HAPPENED WITH ALL THE UPDATES. MY PC IS PLENTY POWERFUL ENOUGH SO THATS NOT THE PROBLEM. I'VE TRIED BOTH USB PORTS AND THESE ISSUES STILL OCCUR.
I WILL VERY SOON RETURN MY RENAISSANCE FOR A REPLACEMENT WHILE IT'S STILL UNDER WARRANTY. BUT BECAUSE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE EXPERIENCING THESE PROBLEMS, I'M WORRIED THE SAME THINGS WILL HAPPEN WITH THE REPLACEMENT.

I'M HOPING SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO CORRECT THESE ISSUES BEFORE I EXCHANGE MY REN FOR A NEW ONE.

Same with me, it's infuriating. I really want to stick with the Ren but it's just doing my head in. Not only do i have random crashing problems, sometimes i have to try open the same project over 10 times to get it to open without crashing.

When i get a chance im going to make sure i have the latest firmware update. If not im going to update and see if it helps.

"One last option for Windows users, only to be done with the detailed instructions from your computer manufacturer, would be to disable the xHCI Controller in your system BIOS. This will effectively disable USB 3.0 functionality so Windows will see all ports as USB 2.0."

Updating the firmware will not do anything (still you should update). Disable USB 3.0 from BIOS and disable your Wi-Fi adapter and you should be good.
