Hello,

I have connected my new Roland boutique JU-06 to my Mpc with midicables. Everything works good when I play notes with Ju-6, mpc sequences them and plays back perfectly. But when I switch to another track (no external midi) Ju-06 starts to seemingly play my mpc drum sets and samples randomly. This totally destroys my workflow, any suggestions how to get rid of this bug?

simplest is to unplug the roland midi out to the mpc midi in.

barring that, it's just a routing thing. your ju is sending midi out on some channel and feeding it back to the mpc. you need to set the mpc to not use that data, or set the ju to not send it.

ideal setup would be...
another midi controller midi out -> mpc midi in.
mpc midi out -> ju midi in.
this way you can play the ju from the keyboard via the mpc, and record it as you want. i cant imagine the ju is sending any useful midi out anyway.
