usb b type?

to connect this to a pc says i need a usb type b cord? i searched for them on ebay and i guess its the same cords for printers? if thats so can i just use the same cord my printer uses if it fits?

If it fits, go for it. It's just a standard USB cable with the square-ish end

What do you expect from a machine that is more than 10 years old? And Nukai doesn´t give a shyt about their legacy MPCs, so don´t go there and ask for Windows 10 drivers...

The MPC4000 is an old and pretty complex sampler, you shouldn't just buy something like this without doing the research into it. No previous MPC made in this era played nicely with computers, the 4000 was the first to feature dedicated software like Aksys but the Akai that created the 4000 is long gone, the current Akai had nothing to do with it and have no interest in maintaining the Aksys software when they now have their own computer based MPC to sell.

What made you buy the 4000 in the first place? TBH none of the other legacy MPCs play well with computers, the best you can get is to be able transfer files to it via USB at very slow speeds (MPC1000 onwards).

well im not gonna give up and just quit cuz its hard. i gotta practice until i get it. for now im trying to figure out which cord on ebay is the right usb for this to connect it to pc. i know tis a usb A to B cable but it comes up as printer cables on ebay. can someone send me a link to one on ebay plz.?

Don't get too obsessed with connecting it to your computer though. You can transfer files into the 4000 using a USB flash drive using the USB input at the front of the unit. Just load up some sounds, download the manual and start working your way through it, make a basic drum kit and record a basic sequence etc. You can try connecting it to your PC later, it's not a requirement, the MPC4000 is a standalone beast.
