That's funny. I go to rock and soul, but mostly because its off the 1/9 train. They have some weird stuff there. If you are into blends or mashes they've always got some new stuff there and then further in the back they have records of old school acapellas and breaks. Weird stuff. I like the place. But I've never really considered it a digging kind of place. Just the joints you need to rock the party :)

oh yeah, and no one meantioned Old and Rare Vinyl or some shit like that off of Bleeker and that street right west of Ave of Americans. Carmine St. That man is a nut. But a likeable nut. And he knows his records.

Vinyl Mania is there. Ok. Not great. And ummm Bleeker St records is there. They got 99 cent 7" downstairs, but a lot of bad music in that bin!

Best take the red trains. Hop off @34th street penn station. Then walk up north on 7th av. On your LH-side u should find Rock and Soul.

But hey you should check out A1 record also man!! It's the illest of all places. They on 439 E. 6 strteet (Between 1st av and av A)
When i'm in NY i always first check them out for used records.
