Anyone else produce in 3/4?

I've only recently started doing this, and oh boy it changes the whole flow of the beats! I love the head nod feeling you get from 3/4. Chopping samples to 3/4 is also very pleasing to the ear. It's like that peice of the puzzle I was missing for years.

I guess most people know it as triplets or 6/8, but either way I am in love with this time signature. Changing to 3/4 on the MPC is damn nice.

3/4 is not the same as 6/8

so 12/16 at 180 bpm?

I know, but it's similar. At least to me. I see 3/4 as 3 beats per bar with quater notes and 6/8 as 6 beats per bar with eigth notes.

12/8 is more like 4/4 with triplets I believe. I prefer 12/8 because it feels more natural rather than putting triplets into a 4/4 sig.

i feel 6/8 and 3/4 look similar in numbers, but in effect they sound totally different to me. 6/8 sounds like a regular beat on triplets, while 3/4 is that waltz stuff. the track posted was 6/8 btw.
usually i still count 6/8 with 4 beats, while 3/4 of course i just count 3.

Padlock, a member here makes 3/4 beats all the time, its nothing to him. I think he doing 5/4 and 9/16 now.

I make 3/4 once in a while, some beats just come out 3/4 and not notice until I try to spit a rhyme. If I chop it to 4/4, it just doesn't have that groove that the 3/4 way had, so I adjust my wordplay and rhyme in 3/4 which is a fun brain ****.

To me, 3/4 is more of a polka feel.
