Hi
i have an MPC touch and I use its audio interface alongside a Technics SL1210 mk2 and a Behringer Nox 101 mixer. I have TRS cables from the mixer into my MPC touch and then TRS cables from my touch to my monitors.
I have recently completed my setup and noticed that the MPC software has to be running to allow the vinyl to play through my monitors. This isn't a major issue, but i would like to turn the LCD screen off so i dont reduce its life. Sometimes, i just want to listen to vinyl and others, i want to grab a quick sample.
I know on the MPC ren i had no problem and the MPC software didnt need to be open to listen to vinyls. Well as far as i can remember.
Im looking for a way to wither turn the MPC LCD completely off, but still have it functioning. Therefore listening to the vinyl, or have a similar concept to the ren, where the machine was turned on, but the software didn't need to be open.
Has anybody else noticed this? How have you resolved the problem?
