I'm currently running the 1.8 update on the MPC Ren, and since that update exporting/ bouncing tracks from song mode has never been the same. Converting a song to a sequence then exploding tracks has major bugs.
1. Tracks/Samples are missing after export.(usually Mpc content).
2. Certain samples playback sequenced differently after export. (Usually Mpc plugins replacing Mpc drum content).
3. The volume of the Tracks/Stems drop out halfway through song.
It's nice to know Akai is on the grind to give us new features and such but don"t complicate things. While Akai is helping users workflow in one area they slow us down in another. i now have to go back and assign a new program for each sample on each track and export as progams in order to export stems the way i use to with no issues, tedious work.
I don't know if it was tech reasons why they screwed with the export function that didn't need fixing or they were just trying something new. Whatever the reason that should be addressed in Akai next update. No more til then.
