Sounds pretty disappointing. Geist is equally solid standalone or plugin.
Even if effectively living in Geist, it's useful to have to running Logic to prep bits of audio in the arrange window and sample editor and then sample them into Geist for chopping and jamming - great when doing a lot of time stretching or pitch shifting to get two loops to work together.
