Kontakt making multiple instance 5-1?

I'M trying to run another instrument in same instance of kontakt but soon as I goto track 2 the information goes away and i have to chose kontakt again but it makes another instance of kontakt called kontakt 5-1. On all videos with reno i see when they change to track 2 it doesn't do that and you can just chose midi output 2 and start playing your other instrument on kontakt. Any clue how I get this to happen. I'm stuck without being able to use multiple instruments for multiple tracks. Thanks hope to hear back

This is on mpc studio btw and mac .

Don't you have enough ram to make a second instance?

it doesn't make a separate opening of contact its the same window, but you can't get any sound out of another instrument i chose channel 2 and its nothing i go back to track 1 and first instrument plays

Ok it makes another instance but I think it has something to do with outputs in kontakt in first instance I can put on two instruments and they work when I switch from channel 1-2 on track 2. Soon as I goto track 3 and load it up I get no feedback like I'm playing in new instance BUT on channel 1 it will play the other instance instrument just the first one?? so confused

You have to make another program or track with a new instance of Kontakt/plugin if I remember correctly.
