MPC1000 Pads suddenly stopped working and screen flicker

hey guys,

I was just using my MPC1000 this morning, recorded a few tracks then turned it off and had a break.

Came back turned it back on and all of a sudden none of the pads are working - no response at all.

The screen flickers a little too (has always done this) where the colour fades in and out.

I've taken it apart but couldn't see anything loose or damaged but I'm not very good with electronics.

Does anyone know what the issue could be? I'm using JJOS 2XL as well.
