Hello I'm new on here an first would like to say
Hello to all...


Ok I just bought a akai Mpc touch an I installed everything right. I opened up the Mpc software an my screen mirrors the Mpc but when I go to touch the screen nothing works I called akai an they basically told me my computer is no good witch is false cause my MacBook Pro is only 3 years old it's a late 2012 so almost 4 years old so if you have had this problem please help thanks ...

All I can suggest is make sure all your drivers are up to date. I know it sounds basic but that usually fixes most problems good luck

Thank but I did an nothing still I have been at this for 2 days now I am gonna return it an go back to my ren she never does me wrong lol

I have the same thing.
The Mpc touch is not working, and keep naging me about 'screen mirroring' even thou it is off.
I have followed every instruction.!!
But here is the funny thing.!! If i conect a external monitor via the display port... IT WORKS...
Go Figure.!??

are you on OSX ?

i had the same problem.
there are some settings to do on OSX.............

check the FAQ
or surch for old similar threads. I have described everything here in a thread.
( end winter / spring 2016)
i much likely won´t find again what i had to do.
Was in systemsettings ( something beside the screen mirrorirng thing), was totally strange IMO, but worked.
found it in the FAQ i guess.........
