Its for when hitting the pads.

How big is the window to quantize before it doesnt quantize.

How close do you want it to get to the Quantize settings.

The mpc 5000 manual might be a good resource to read.

Good luck!

hello
IM A BIT CONFUSED
shift time :shove notes forward and backward in ticks
strength: is only to correct notes ?
windows :is not to correct notes but to incomming notes ?
swing: is to correct and incomming notes . i think so
how is the real?

maybe ,i a real swing knob to every pad made the live a little bit easier
but some groove templates would be nice
though i like this input swing with window procents
but the problem is the different microtiming on new notes in same track
thats a killer for stable house groove and other dancing stuff

the groove is dead.
can i move notes to the same start position ,in a easier way?

This question makes sense to me !
not shure if the other participants here have gotten his problem
( i´m btw. native german speaking too)
( i´ve not touched my Touch too much, though, so......)

The point as i understand is:
he wants to move a note from one Pad to another one but he wants to keep his "human played quantisation" "as is" on that moved note .
so what he´s saying is that when he moves the note it "slips" into a quantisation grid.
now, if you set quantization to "off", how would you move your notes to another pad with keeping your own "human played quantisation" ?
........this just can´t be the solution.

the software should lock *a moving note* to its existing "original quantisation value".
it really does not ?...............in the year 2016 ? .........ohoohh
