About importing MIDI files on the MPC.

Greetings, I'm searching for some information about importing MIDI files on my MPC.
I have created a bass track on Reason and I want it to play along with a beat I am making on my MPC, should I export it as a MIDI file and then import it and convert it on a sequence? Also, can I assign a bass sound I have on my MPC on my MIDI note files after I have converted it on a sequence?

Export it as a standard MIDI file and you can just load this into your MPC like you would any sequence.

Yes, change the track from MIDI to DRUM and assign a multisampled bass program to that track.

Another option is to just connect the MIDI out of your MPC1000 to Reason and trigger the Reason bass instrument from an MPC MIDI track. So all the MIDI events are triggered on your MPC, while Reason handles the bass output.
