MPC 3000 legacy forever to load, fails?

Anyone else had this problem? All of the other legacy kits load in under 2 minutes, the 3000 was loading for over an hour and was using basically all of the memory and processor.

Why would you leave your 3000 loading for an hour?

its the legacy from the mpc software for an mpc studio, and seemed to be making progress. There appears to be a sh!tload of samples, I'm just curious if this is an isolated event, or if anyone had the same experience. The other legacy mpc's load in a few minutes. Google'd and searched here to no avail.

I'm having a very difficult time troubleshooting. It begins to load the .pgms then the samples start, it seems like a very extensive list, then I get 'some of these samples already loaded' 'cancel or replace' I've tried both options to no avail, not sure where to start, because I really like the collection of 3000 sounds.

i dont use these mpcs, but at first glance it sounds like a disk error. it sounds to me like one of your wav files or something is glitched out. i wonder if re-installing the library wouldn't help.

That's my last resort, I already had to do a fresh reinstall after windows 10 shuffled some things around after an update.
