MPC Software 1.9.5 Question... Mute a note

Hey Guys,

Getting back into my MPC Ren but I don't see a way to mute a note in the software.
How can you mute just one note or mute many notes with the lasso tools?
Is there a shortcut?

I've looked in the manual and on almost every video and haven't seen it yet...

Only way I can see doing this is going to the mute window, zooming in on the note and dragging your mouse over the note to highlight it. Not the smoothest workflow but should work.
