Connect a Guitar and microphones to the MPC

Hey Guys, I've been messing around with my MPC for a little while now and I'm wondering about the MIDI. I haven't adventured my self through that path yet. I am a guitarist and singer. Is it possible to plug my guitar and a microphone also to a MIDI like this : , and plug that MIDI to the MPC it self ?

Will I be able to record my own voice and sample my own guitar sound as from there ? Just wanted to be sure before spending my money in there..

3. Midi carries no audio information. Midi is data only.
4. You never mentioned what mpc you have and what version OS it's running.

You just need a preamp for mics and guitars. MIDI only communicates data.

I use Boss GT-Pro to record bass or guitar to my MPC 1000.
There is a digital out in the GT and the MPC has digital in.
Works perfectly.
