MPC 2000 Classic Boot Error

Was finally getting into the workflow of the MPC and now it won't turn on at all, I've got a USB drive with a floppy emulator with the OS on drive 000 but when I switch on it scans through SCSI 1 > 7 for a couple of times then I get the Insert OS disk screen or Disk Read Error. Can't find anyone online with a similar problem, anyone got any ideas on what could be up with it? Think it might not be detecting the USB drive for some reason.

I'd try putting the O.S on another USB stick , see if it will boot up.
I have a Gotek emulator and I find that if I'm transfering sounds from computer to mpc a few times after about the 3rd time it will not read the disk and I have to re-format it in the Mpc.
