Any Update for Akai 2.0 Software?

Do you mean the 'Coming soon' Q-Link Edit page for the Touch UI? If so then that should be fixed in 1.9.x, we shouldn't have to pay to get missing features. 'Coming Soon' is already 8 months...

Summer NAMM would be a great time for Akai to show some upcoming 2.0 stuff. Hoping there'll be something and we'd get a glimpse.

Looks like nothing from akai this year at summer namm Looks like were going to going to have to wait till January for 2.0 or the standalone ren.... Give us a new flagship! IMO I just cant get behind the touch as a MPC flagship model. And BTW akai no one gives a shit about your $400 belt drive turntable...

I purchased the Touch a little less than 2 weeks ago so I will return it since I'll have to wait until 2017 for 2.0 which I would have to pay for. I was hoping for a 2016 summer release of 2.0. Good thing kept the box.

I purchased the Touch a little less than 2 weeks ago so I will return it since I'll have to wait until 2017 for 2.0 which I would have to pay for. I was hoping for a 2016 summer release of 2.0. Good thing kept the box.

In the software world (or pretty much in any world), the product is not out until it is out.
IMHO, buying something in hopes of an update coming soon and then selling it in two weeks because it did not come out in two weeks after buying is just silly.

I think they've learned a lot about announcing things early. Dan has said we haven't seen it all.
My guess is they are working on it but have been told to keep quiet about it until we're close.
I bet poor Pete got bombarded with Qs on Twitter, ha.

I mean they have had 6 months since winter namm to work out the bugs of the demo version. How much time do they need? Akai would never release something without having it being completely bug free!!

I was expecting some kind of update. NAMM is not over yet so we may hear something.

It may looks silly to you but to the person with the $800 software /hardware on his desk thats not being used it makes sense. Then touch is of no use to me without audio tracks. I purchased it thinking that 2.0 would come out soon enough that i wouldn't have to purchase the 2.0 update. Since I'm not using I might as well return it and wait for 2.0 to be released and probably save $100. Makes sense to me.
