Hello,
i think the title says it clearly:

How do you store your (vintage) electronics?

So, i got a bunch of MPC's and other equipment and i don't use them all at the same time, so my question is on how do you store your stuff you don't need for some time? So, i got a cellar, but it's wet and dusty, so, this is no option for me. For now my MPC's just stand there and gathering dust, grime and sunlight. So i'm asking for some advice from anybody who has some experience with that.
I don't have the original packaging, so this also is no option for me.

I keep my gear in a dark room, covered with towels and does not ever have humidity in it because there's an air conditioner in there.

If it's foreseeable that I'm not going to use a gear for some time I pack it into a box, seal it as good as possible with tape and store it on a shelf in the attic. All the gear in my room is covered when its not in use. Either with a decksaver, a custom sewed cover made by my wife or just some towels. Doesn't keep all dust away but it works for me.

I'm the same with towels and boxes.
I try remember to take out batteries from my gear if it will be stored for a long time like on the TR-707, 808 & 909.

Each piece has it's own soft bag in the closet, very cool temp in there. Never humidity at all , no silica needed.
