My MPC Touch can't read or edit REX files. Need help!!

I wiped my iMac and reinstalled everything. Now all of a sudden my DAW can't read or edit REX files. This makes no sense. Anybody experience this before or am I missing something? I'm using 1.9.6 btw.

Nobody has experienced this???

bro really?? smh lol. My post clearly has absolutely nothing to do with what makes an MPC a DAW...

Anyway..
To anybody that has experienced their MPC not being able to read REX files and found a solution, you're help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well, since you can use the MPC as a plugin inside a DAW as well as standalone I wanted to clarify what you actually mean by DAW...your MPC or a DAW where it´s plugged in.

If you get weirdness after an install, go to

/Library/Application Support/Akai/MPC

Hit the uninstaller and, importantly, when its finished, reboot and then go through the reinstall process again (your preferences and activation details are not uninstalled). You must reboot after uninstalling the software - don't just uninstall and reinstall.

Ok I'll try that. I just don't understand why it's doing this all of a sudden. It's never done this before in all the years I been using this
