Appreciate that man! The Fearless Warrior coming in September 2016. Have a little more than a month to finish this mixing and mastering, but getting it done.

Everything starts with the MPC Touch. Do most sequencing on there. (The Unspoken Warrior was done on an MPC 5000 though). Like most people I have thousands of samples. Drums, instruments, riffs, etc. I combine them with live instruments. Never used any of the MPC Expansions. Not because I don't think they're good - just never used them.

Once the basis is laid in the MPC (sometimes the entire song) I export everything to Logic Pro. If I need some expression instruments and other ear candy I'll add them there. Spectrasonics stuff, Lounge Lizard, Play libraries, and a few others. I don't use many plugins, but I use them on just about every song in some way, shape or form. If I need to record vocals I do that in Logic as well.

Mixing happens in Logic. Logic, Waves and Universal Audio plugins. Mastering happens in WaveLab.

The song You Are on soundcloud for example, that was 100% MPC. Only did mixing in Logic. Didn't add anything else to it.

Looking for some folks to take a pre-listen to this next album. Always appreciate producer feedback. Mellow, neo-soul kind of vibe. Soul music. Looking for about five volunteers. For your time, I'll send you a when it releases in September / October. Let me know!
