Bug reports & end-user support for Akai's MPC Software 'controllers' including the new MPC Studio 2, the MPC Touch, MPC Renaissance & original MPC Studio and MPC StudioB lack.

for one, how about actual midi?! Ya know where you can trigger a program and have that midi data sent out to a midi channel. I can't believe the Mpc software can't do this after so many years of it being out, a real shame!

I bet Akai has learned a bit and will drop the big bomb on us once they're close to calling it a finished product.
I bet (hope...) they've learned from putting things out too early.

Some find Dan Gill, get him really drunk and squeeze some wild rumors out of him? And please record a video of it.

I guess it will drop when it's finished, until then even Akai won't know when it will be ready. Of course history has shown that 'finished' by Akai's standards is typically still 'beta' by most other's standards. Anyone who remembers MPC Software 1.0 will know what I'm talking about. As this is a paid upgrade, expectations are going to be high with regards to stability and features...

I'm still waiting for the 'Coming Soon' Q Link editing mode in the MPC Touch (9 months and counting). Who wants to bet this won't make the cut until 2.x?

.....but you know that this is also much related to the Manpower that akai is willing to fork out for us, their customers ?
I much guess that you know ;)

personally i´m getting tired now, if not pissed............

If there's anything I've noticed when it comes to these kind of software developers....

The pressure to release updates doesn't come from it's fanbase... it comes from competing software developers.

Basically, us owners asking for something is cool and I'm sure respected... but let Native Instruments (or another competing company) be about to put out something out dope out... that's the true source of urgency.

I can't deny the patterns of the timings of their releases and what is tackled in those releases.

Rappers are like that. Often times you get the best out of them when they're on a song with another dope rapper. Can't get outshined, b.

Word up.
If you had NI release real-time stretching for Maschine tomorrow, you know we'd get pretty quick for MPC.

Didn't "lazy chop" (sorry to offend anyone with the term ) come out roughly around the same time for Ableton / MPC / Maschine once one of them put it out first ? Cant remember who did it first.

Yeah. "Soon" isn't that good a look when it's 9+ months by any standards.

I thought in the namm vid they said q link edit would not be in 2.0 and 2.1. St. Joe was hammering them about but the sense of urgency didn't seem to be there.

The software crashes when you zoom in? A full crash ie you have to load the software again from scratch?

Never had anything close to that happen myself. What model/year mac and mpc version is it?
