MPC sequence to logic tempo change

Hi, I just got my MPC studio the other day so I've mostly been fumbling around (I'll do this until I decide I should actually look at tutorials) and trying to get sequences over to Logic Pro. I figured out how to do this but every time I transfer them over to Logic the tempo is slowed dramatically. Is it something wrong with how I'm saving the file in the MPC software, or is it something I have to do in Logic itself?

Make sure your resolution and bit depth is set to the same in both projects. If your mpc project was bounced at 44.1 and your logic session is at 96khz your gonna get it speeded up or slowed down. Same thing is your mpc is set at 48khz and your logic session is 44.1 kHz. This is available in the preferences section of the software and in logic its under project settings>audio

Ok, so I tried that, both at 44.1 and 48 but it's still at least half of the speed. I'm probably doing something wrong but I've been trying to fix this for the past hour.
