yeah you are right... and wouldn't doing that be the most disappointing time for roland to start taking lessons from korg.

Hell, that would be the wrong lesson to learn from them. Now if they started making iPad apps for some classic synths, that wouldn't be a bad thing to copy from Korg.

or perhaps something analog would be a good idea. (not the akai variety of analog though, let's be clear)

Hi All,
I just do not understand why they would make a new version of the TR909 and not have individual outputs on it. You might as well just stick with the new TR-8 and use the 909 in that since it has more outputs. The greatest thing about the TR909 was that it has analog sounds and many outputs.

One does not need analog to sound great. So I am okay with the new styled 303 and 909 not being analog, but the lack of outputs hurts. I do not use a computer in my setup.
