PHONO TO MAC (MAD COMPUTER NOISE)

IM TRYING TO HOOK MY STUFF UP SO THAT IM ABLE TO SAMPLE ON THE FLY (FROM MAC).

I GET WHITE NOISE THAT FOLLOWS THE "MOTION" OF THE KEYBOARD/THE MOUSE (THATS REALLY ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT THE SIGNAL). THE RECORDING INTERFACE IN THE MPC (ANALOG) GOES BANANAS AS WELL (IT SEEMS TO ACCURATELY FOLLOW THE COMPUTER NOISE THOUGH).

IM THINKING OF SKIPPING THE DIRECT CONNECTION TO THE MAC.
IS THERE A WAY I CAN, INSTEAD OF PLUGGING STRAIGHT FROM THE MPC TO THE MAC, USE THE AUDIO INTERFACE FOR SAMPLING ON THE FLY (FROM THE MAC). I LOOKED UP DIFFERENT CABLES/JACKS, BUT IM NOT SURE WHAT WOULD BE THE SMOOTHEST CONNECTION (OBVIOUSLY NO PHONO I/O ON THE INTERFACE)

Tl DR, how do you record signals from your computer to your MPC instantly? What units/cables are you working with. I might donate $2 to the person who provides me with the best advice.

I figure if Id buy two TRS (or TS) cables to phono this could work (?), can this affect the signal going to the monitors, and lower the sound signal?

This has nothing to do with sampling from a turntable. Simply just a quick way to pick up sound signals from the Mac. Would a phono preamp still be necessary (/improve quality) ?

I answered both your questions numbnuts. You didn't even say the model of turntable you have.
