Hello, I was curious if anyone has had the same problem.
I was using my mpc for several hours, when I noticed the screen brightness flicker and fade. I turned it off and researched the problem for several minutes.
When I went to turn it back on, I adjusted the brightness and that was good. But when I went to load my samples, the mpc completely frooze! This seems to be common enough, so I decided to try a new CF card. However, I got the same freeze with new card I bought from Frys. (O.G: KINGSTON 16GB 133X ELITE PRO / NEW: LINK DEPOT 16GB 233X).
I never removed the CF before this and it was working fine for hours before hand, so it was definitely not the pins (which seems to be most common).
After checking the pins anyways, I opened it up and did not notice any thing funny on the board, ribbon or any other coponents.
I plan on upgrading to an HD, but I was curious if anyone has had a similar issue where right in the middle of use your mpc flickered and the CF reader died?
