What im trying to do is use the mpc renaissance opened in standalone in midi control mode to control mappable parameters with the q links such as eq in my daw cubase. Im setting up cubase to recieve midi from the mpc public output but it isn't sending anything. Haven't updated firmware for renaissance yet from 1.0 could that be problem. Any help greatly appreciated

Okay. So i basically repeated the the firmware update over and over like 20 times and i finally got the update to work . And guess what that was exactly what i needed for the midi control mode to work properly. Hope this helps someone else.
