Hello guys,

Im new to producing music. I've bought a novation launchkey49 and i want to know what the best usb audio interface is to use when it comes to the delay when pressing a key. I'm using ableton live 9 lite. My budget is around €150. Right now i've seen a alesis io2 express wich seemed really good

I read the specs on the Alesis io2, looks good, go for it!

Make sure you can get a return policy or warranty or something so if you don't like it you can
return it.

It's perfectly fine for small budget beginner interface.

I love Focusrite also.

Just about any usb interface in that price range will work. I really like the Focusrite 2i2 and the Presonus Audiobox. They have really great sound to be so small. Also, your latency will have a lot to do with your buffer size and the amount of ram installed on your system. For less latency, set the buffer as low as you can and increase as needed. Setting too low will cause a crackling sound. Setting too high will add latency when playing midi or recording audio. Most interfaces come with control panel software accessed in stand alone ore through your production software. Let us know what you choose...
