Hi. :)

I'm new here, bought my first MPC couple months ago, MPC Studio Black. I haven't got any problems with it until now.

So, i've recorded some leads and added drums with them, but when i add an 808 bass to keygroup and start playing it while the beat is playing, bass starts a horrible disortion and it doesn't matter what bass, lead or melody there are, bass always starts to disort with the melodies.

BUT there is no disortion if i add that 808 bass just to one pad without keygroup. Disortion comes only if i create a keygroup.

Why the keygroup starts that annoying disortion?! I've been trying almost everything to make that stop but i haven't found the solution. It's pretty frustrating... :|

Please help me! I don't want to sell my MPC away because of this problem... :WTF:

Sorry, you can select to edit all pads at the same time by choosing "ALL" at the top of the program edit. I think in your case the whole key group. You can select it to mono so every time you trigger the sound it will cut off, a polyphony of 1.

wonder if this could be polyphony issue, what is your computer specs ?
turn on system monitor to see whether you are taxing the computer too much
I'll try the 808 bass next time Im in front of mpc to see if I can replicate the problem

You wouldn't have to wonder if you read the above.

Mac mini (Late 2012)
2,5 GHz Intel Core i5
4 Gb, 1600 MHz:n DDR3
ntel HD Graphics 4000

But how is that possible? My mac runs Logic Pro X and 30 plug-ins at same time without issues. 808's and subs works fine in Logic too.

Ok so I opened the activity monitor and it told that while i press play on mpc and play some 808's, the mpc software's cpu load is 88,9%. I guess it means that i need a new computer...? Shit :D
