I have an MPC 2000 Classic w/o the 8 outs. I don't plan on expanding any time soon. I'm feeling pretty good about creating beats/songs in the MP so now I want to move to getting the music onto a computer.
I'd stay away from a computer entirely if I could so I want to maintain as simple as possible setup.
I want to:
-Record out to daw either two track or one track at a time using the stereo outs or midi
-Use an audio interface to record vocals via a microphone into a daw
-Record scratches via audio interface into a daw
Can anyone offer advice on a good audio interface unit for $100 or less. I want to be able to record my turntable and vocals into the computer with no latency.
I do want one midi in/out.
I realize there are several posts discussing this topic but technology updates are continuous and I'd like to take into account any recent developments.
Thanks!
