I really wish people would stop saying this... lol. I know what you mean, it will allow you to work the way you want to work. But in no way does adding audio tracks "change the game" - it's a capability that's been around in other software for decades.

Back to the OP topic - the 2.0 delay, IMO... for anyone that uses song mode, there's no logical way that audio tracks fits into that design model. I wouldn't be surprised if song mode is the main reason that audio tracks hasn't been done to this date, and why it's taking so long to implement it. Granted I think song mode is waaaay outdated, so maybe audio tracks will bring about a long overdue overhaul to song mode. So even though audio tracks isnt something I'd ever use, I do use song mode, and if that gets an overhaul of song mode, hell put audio tracks in there. But ya'll need to be careful what you wish for. "Want this really cool sampler feature in the software in version 2.7? Naw, we gotta spend time fixing audio tracks. Can't have that really cool sampler feature in this release..."

And oh yeah... The Fearless Warrior is out now! iTunes Amazon, google music, all of that. :)

Don't usually post. Long time viewer. 2000xl and renaissance user. Hoping that 2.0 brings some stability to the renaissance as it is been nothing but a headache since release. Never too sure what I'm switching on to when I boot everything up. Sorry for negativity but stability is and always has been the main issue

probably ur computer is flowers clos the mpc has been mostly stable since at 1.8.x and certainly in 1.9.6 it pretty rock solid for most things.

perhaps u should try installing on a different pcs and see how the performance differs; but I aint saying its bug free but for most of the common mpc tasks the software handles with ease.

If your a Touch user then I guess full functionality of that will be nice but Studio and Ren owners(I've got a studio fyi) what does 2.0 bring that is currently preventing you from achieving your goals musically?

Also, it's keeping me from buying an MPC Studio Black. I'm ready to invest, but I don't feel like ponying up more scratch for a 2.0 update, just because I took the plunge a month too early to fall inside the "grace period".

So there's that.

yeah I just got the studio black anyway; and sold my silver mpc, I was waiting for the mpc touch to come out but I was like f it, if v2 drops I will maybe sell the black and get the touch.

but now I got the black studio I like enuff to where I might just keep it and get the touch when the 2.0 drops
