Akai Expansions as WAVs

Does anyone know if there's a way to download the newer Akai expansion drum kits as WAVs? Instead of having them automatically install straight into your MPC software? I bought a kit awhile back and it seems like my software has been freezing more frequently ever since- even in projects that don't utilize any sounds from the expansion pack. I like the sounds, but I want them as WAVs so I can just choose which ones to import from iTunes into my projects. Anyone know if that's possible? I would ask AKAI, but I'm sure I'll get an answer on here in a much shorter amount of time. Thanks!

An expansion shouldnt be doing anything like that to your system, it's just a folder of wavs and programs, but you can find it all in

Library > Application Support > Akai > MPC > Content

Copy that folder and put it somewhere else, then delete the original folder as well as the XML file in the 'Library > Application Support > Akai > MPC > Expansions' folder.
