Driver update failure (2.9.68) mpc Renaissance on Windows 10

Hi please help... Been running my Ren on an old MacBook for years and recently decided to go for a brand new desktop PC with windows 10. Just installed the software from the original discs that came with the Ren and have also updated to the latest version of the software (at this time of writing). I'm currently trying to update the drivers but I just keep getting the 0x0005 time out error.

Seem to be going round in circles!

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, many thanks

Is this the part where it ask you to connect the REN via USB? If so try a non USB 3.0 port.

Hey - many thanks. It worked by using a port on the back which was obviously a 2.0... Much appreciated x
