Mpc in distortion ped

Hi Forum!
Im thinking about buying a distortion Pedal for "boosting" the drum grooves i do on My mpc 1000. I sequence them in Logic and want to know if this is possible or if there could be any problem. Im a totally scrub so just mention if this question already exist in Forum or if im completly wrong with my idea thanks in advance

Try to be more specific:

Are you looking to use the distortion pedal to make changes to your drums in a live setting, or are you looking to alter the the drums during or after sampling?

It sounds like you will be using a guitar pedal to trigger this effect. Any specific pedal in mind? If you are looking for a boost effect, there are tons of dedicated boost pedals available as well. These are different from distortion pedals.

Do you sample drums with your MPC1000 and then sequence in Logic? I'm assuming that you're using JJ OS?

Answer: Yes this is certainly possible. I'm sure there could potentially be problems as well. It depends on the specifics.

Yes i Build The groove on mpc and put it Track By Track in Logic. The Plan was to use it After sampling before getting them into Logic.
I bought a Boss ds 1 now. Seems very good for First and yes i am using jjos.

there is a new box that is made for this https://www.elektron.se/products/analog-heat/ but it is crazy expensive. I just like BOSS pedals. keep an eye peeled for the BOSS BD-2 and BOSS OD-3 I think they are the best ones.
