was trying to get me a studio and realize that there's no more in stock until December 8th :hmmm:

I'm betting it's something new  :smoker:

EDIT: Please note that I've updated the title of this topic as it seems a new standalone is coming as per the FCC web site - check later in this topic for more details:

I wonder what's going on, the Mpd218 goes out of stock quickly since the beginning of Summer.

Ams has them: http://www.americanmusical.com/Item--i- ... TUDIO-LIST
Sweetwater in stock 'in a few days'. All of the UK and EU have them in stock. Seems odd that they would purposely limit stock for one of their active '2016' products. 7 weeks is a long time to purposely stop people buying - and why the Studio, not the Touch as well, which is currently seeing a $200 off promo.

I'm assuming the OP thinks that they are purposely holding them back so they can ship with 2.0? Do they even ship with a DVD these days, I assumed they just told people to download from the Akai site.

It's out of stock when you select a new studio, not instock until 11/30/2016. Not that any of this means anything.

I think that they put a paper download card for all new mpcs.

Peeps so thirsty for a new flagship and 2.0, they take anything as a sign for forthcoming goodies now
Peeps be like oh sh*t, I saw the mailman carry a package to my neighbor, pretty sure an MPC would fit in there, I think that must be it

even if they announce tomorrow that product wont hit the stores until December; and even then it will be limited amounts in the shops for December so it prolly wont be widely available to NAMM late jan.

so u may as well get the studio for a few months.

I think the fact that they are blowing out the touch with a 200 discount is a good indication. My prediction is they release 2.0 with a new flagship right before namm. They might do it soon to get it in stores before the holidays.

Crazy that it may be from winter Namm 16 to winter namm 17 before we receive any information.

Its the post truth era as I keep seeing the media referring to it. You can make up anything you want.

Literally doesn't even mean literally anymore these days.
