There you go again assuming you know me, or about anything to do with me, whatsoever. You clearly will always find any way to explain the company you gush over, while ill continue to support whatever comp. thats trustworthy and doesnt use underhanded tactics to sell broken garbage.

I dont care about any particular product manufacture; I only have one Akai product the studio; why are u buying multiple products from a company u consider shit?

again ur are the only only person Ive known to not be able to use touch; and it seems to be for a silly reason, also u the only one Ive heard say th eaudio interface does not work, hence why I assume ur doing something incorrectly.

Nonetheless, I'm still excited to see what's next with 2.0 and a new flagship.

I think Akai are average at best they are trying; but I think the Touch was a success; by what criteria do you deem it a failure.

cos lotta peeps have silly reasons for branding it a failure, because it does not meet their own personal expectations, but that does not qualify it as a failure.

The problem is we are getting no news from Akai. So people are speculating what may be happening. It's been a year since they released a new product so I expect something soon

jpeg is an Akai shill.

no I dont care for Akai in particular;

thought I do happen to use the mpc studio; previously I had an advanced 25 which had a decent build but ultimately the vip platform, was not what I thought so I sold.

and previously I had the mpc1k which I found to be a boring uninspired unit; and that was saved by jj o/s.

so I will critique akai where justified but that guy was making up stuff and ignoring what was said in the vid, hence I called him into question.

I think most people around here have assumed Q3 or later this year. I've been suggesting 2017 for a while now. I also assume that most of us will have to pay - as someone mentioned earlier, the current price drop might well be used to offset imminent 2.0 upgrade costs. I don't mind paying if it's a quality upgrade, but I do feel that promised 'coming soon' features like Q Link Edit Mode should be offered in a separate free 1.9.x release.

this is the common sense understanding, when Dan said 2016 I immediate thought this aint coming till the end of the year.

but cos this relish got a grip against akai he magnifying shit to justify his position; and Dan clearly said it will be a paid update and the dude wont even acknowledge that those words were said on the video.

Hence I have to question the dude character when u start deflecting and refusing to deal with facts regarding what was actually said.

Had Dan said its coming out spring or summer 2016; then I would give relish gripes more credence.

I am unfamiliar with the Timberwolf and other product lines cos they did not interest me; but Im only evaluating the mpc.20 and the Touch and the next purported flagship.

If u got ur feelings hurt on other Akai products thats on u for keep buying they stuff, but I say that hurt is clouding ur assessment of the situation.

From what is said at 3:25 you would think that 2.0 would have been out months ago. I even bought a Touch hoping to get the free upgrade since it would be released soon.

Exactly, he even says to "ask him around that time" and that "everything should be more clear by then" yet akai has not said one word about anything and have intentionally been unavailable for questions.

I can see im going to need to spell it out for u.So one last time to be clear:
Your clearly the type of clown that trys to make a point using a video that clearly makes opposite point. You try to attack me with insults, yet you admit you dont even own mpc touch so stfu u poser. And btw I own a lot of akai products so what, thats my problem and its none of your business wtf i own or why, at least as a consumer who actually purchased the product it gives me the right to judge said product, you coming at me saying based on" what u heard" from others so" it must be my problem" shows how little anyone should take u seriously.
Defending a product u CLEARLY have never used just shows the audacity of fanbois. Again u dont know me, are those people using it on windows, which is a supported os Etc etc. And so far it has been u who has proven to be the ignorant uninformed phony thats trying to flame me based on what u assume u know, ur a joke plain and simple, and its a known fact that the audio interface is a pos with tons of midi latency(on several high end pcs and 1 mac), if u owned the device youd know but instead your here trying to discuss something you know CLEARLY nothing about. So far ive made every attempt to answer u in a rational manner despite your repeated insults but :fku: :fku: :fku: as youve tried to argue about a product your clearly too broke to buy, yet gush over. if untrue why would you talk so much and defend it like u own the comp.
& youve been proven wrong on the only few "points" u were trying to make in front of everyone to see, we all are in agreement that u were wrong when u tried to claim all kinds of false facts about the very vid u posted.
I mean ffs thats why u never go full re-tard, as youll end up arguing with someone about a product they own which u dont & u therefore know nothing about,
I will no longer even respond to you as flamer clowns only derail threads into insult fests.
Although what defines a fanboi if not this exact behavior of flaming others based on assumptions about something u dont own. like "Akai couldnt have done that, no I wont believe it, u must be at fault".
:Sigh: :WTF: :Sigh: :WTF: numbskull

I've searched around and not sure if this image is the supposed new "Eclipse" either way thought I'd add on to the conversation Image

acknowledged; thats was the first I'd seen of that vid; so u were correct the developments is way behind schedule and the are obviously having issues delivering what they promised.

that is kinda of shoddy of them to parade a software version at such an early stage of development/

u sound pathetically immature; but I can say I've used the touch on several occasions, if that consoles ur wasted attempts at being rational or credible.
