This looks legit. So there you have it.. a stand alone unit. The top looks exactly like the mpc touch but the backside reveals all the goodies..

I for one will have no use for a stand alone unit. I'm happy with my touch so I will stick to it.
I'm just waiting for MPC software 2.0.

Interesting, kind of expecting the size of the ren, with 4 midi outs, and a few more knobs, obviously called "live" for the reason of performance, maybe there will be an mpc studio version, remains to be in the lap of the gods

This thing is a hybrid, I like that hope the onboard os is on point, this is the route I've been hoping everyone goes

Well well well. So they finally did it! Looking fwd to seeing how people receive it. That is nice.
Also looking fwd to the rumored bigger model!

Shall we have a guess as to what people will be complaining about so far?

Only 2GB ram? Only 16GB storage? No micro SD? No USB C? Battery life? No tilting screen? Screen too small? Too heavy?

BTW that screen looks slightly different to the Touch - the Touch's screen is recessed, this one seems flush.

There has to be a wireless control component related to this, it would not show up on the fcc site if it didnt.

Edit: There is an antenna and an ethernet controller.

They should make the battery removable. It's pretty certain there will be issues with that power cell, mark my words.

@mpc-tutor it does have a USB 3.0 Type B port which can be converted to micro with an adapter if you want.

I wish the screen was bigger, but its not a deal breaker. I think this is going to be a 1299, 1499 price point again.

I'm ready to order, had my money set aside for a while now. Time to order a ssd to slap in there

the Touch looks better; I have no need for a standalone but some were dying for a standalone so lets see how it works out for u.

but soon as us start loading up vsts in ur 2GB or RAM u will recall why its beneficial to have a computer.
