MPC touch not a quality product!?...changing track levels by

Mpc touch gone crazy! Changing the levels of the track by itself!
Any advice is welcome!
PS I have the touch hooked on to my 2015 macbook pro with top specs so it cant be the laptop

Could be a hardware problem, although you'd expect it to change values on other screens as well if the dial was faulty. Is it happening in other modes?

No its not the dial.I added some more tracks(had 5 tracks playing)and it seemed that the mpc was changing the levels on the 3rd and 4th track..others remained stable

I just realized that the tracks that were flickering had samples that I got from the cd(converted to WAV with I tunes)
Any ideas?

Thats odd. What about in other projects or only that project affected?

No I did not do any automation.
The changes are totally random! Just tried it again and now once I change even 1 level all go crazy..and start changing when Im not even on that window!

So do you get any problems with any other WAVs, or it just the iTunes converted stuff?

Tried it again today and it changes the levels of all the tracks randomly(doesn't matter what WAV's on the track)

So "MPC" Touchs starting to break already? Seems like Nukai has managed to put even shittier components in their products now.

You should ring Akai tech support, they'll confirm if it's a hardware or software problem

What do you mean by overdub those changes?
Well all the tracks were overdubbed with "over dub+play start" yes
And I live in Australia so I try to avoid calling overseas

I was wondering is it possible to change track volume levels in mpc software?

Try Skype or similar, or grab a cheap international calling card. I'm not sure you're going to get this resolved without being a bit more direct with Akai, their email support is notoriously shoddy and slow.
