Why can't i pull a Flac sample i've made into my MPC studio

which i kinda wanted to slice the shit outta on my mpc studio black, my second studio black this year as i somehow broke or **** up the last one, thank Akai for being cool ....

so why can't i pull a flac file in MPC Studio?

I just hope thats ONE of the cool new tingz on this if it'll ever fecking come out COME ON AKAI 2.0 update!

Well I guess they didn't build flac support in. Just convert it to a wav

Oh yeah I feel kinda stupid, not that it didn't cross my mind. I just didn't wanna loose any quality, but I guess if it did loose any volume for example, a little normalisation would sort that... , yep normalisation, i'm actually learning shit about using my MPC!
it's been a learning curve, from coming from playing trumpet and guitar when i was like 16, then the only experience I've had producing, was back in EveryThingAnalog days.......which I do kinda miss..

Oh yeah, if i get a turntable..... how easy is it to connect to my MPC studio black ? or is it just not worth bothering doing? I just like the raw sound from records.

You won't lose any quality converting a Flac to a wav file. Your wav file will however be much larger.

Record a turntable?.... it depends on the type of turntable. Old school with rca outs, or a usb turntable?

The main thing you will needs is an audio interface as the studio doesn't have one builtin like the Ren or touch does.
