I hope that'll comes out at NAMM '17.
Some speak highly of the guy but I don't know what to think.

He was right on a lot of stuff, i'll take what we can get instead of the 11 months of silence from the parent company.

What devices was he right about?

there is no MPC Eclipse its MPC Legacy; the legacy is said to be wider than the the Ren and has a flip screen

Ok got it, saw the image with the red and black MPC Ren case with the flip screen. Though that was the eclipse.

he was right about the mpc touch; he was right about the other mpc products he saw as now we have sight of the mpc live; and he mentioned the mpc legacy and there have been some suggestions from GC staff that this larger flagship unit is confirmed for NAMM 2017.

and I will assume he is correct about the rolands acb sampler

I just wish it was the specs of the larger unit that leaked (if it even exists at all) so I can start to put some ca$h aside for the moment it drops..

yeh I would only be interested in that......I'm not too bothered about the Live

Wow. FINALLY!

If that will run on batteries... I'll freaking buy 2 of them. AWESOME!

I loved the Touch, but sold it to get a Push 2 because I didn't liked some workflows of MPC software, but if this will be standalone... screw the workflow... I'M IN!

I love how this kid goes **** on dan. Not that he deserves it but I find it pretty comical

Right. So probably no new product on Black Friday then, seeing they're still working on 2.0.

It's so silly to keep quiet about. Post a 2.0 update. Show the ableton clip launching working in realtime with working realtime time stretching. show the audio track wave form screen lined up in track view.

They already announced these things, post an update or let the beta testers do it. Hellfire, Masada, Soundsfor samplers have good prelease akai videos

I think they are waiting to have a new standalone to release with the software. I just cant believe they are working on new products without having finished 2.0

The kid definitely has some valid points and im glad someone is voicing the rage of akai users.

Yeah exactly: show something. Drop little social media updates to give Akai fans some faith.
At this point, with no sneak peeks of anything, they might've just dropped working on it, for all we know.
And now that Dan finally can be bothered to say something, I'm not sure it's a good look that he actually says very little in terms of anything.
Every now and then I can't help shaking my head at Akai. There is some truth in what the kid says.

Damn.. That 'hellprism' roasted him good.. I don't feel like there's any lie in his emotional preach.. The only thing I could do while reading his posts was laugh and nod my head..

He's so right about the latency.. When my projects are starting to get big, I have to switch to my komplete audio 6 soundcard to handle the job..

The more I think about this guys posts the angrier I get at Akai.. Now I feel like the touch was never ment to be 2015/2016's flagship.. Just a release to haul in some ca$h.. I mean look at the sudden price drop of $200,-

That aside (I've calmed down):
I think when 2.0 drops there will also be a new 1.9.x to fill in the comming soon sections..
