MPC Live + MPC X: new standalone touchscreen MPCs?

well we will find out tomorrow; but I think if nothing gets announced by next week Friday then merry xmas we gonna have wait till NAMM

Was only a few days ago that Dan said on Reddit that they're still working on 2.0, so I wouldn't hold my breath.
But we'll see – or not, which is my best guess.

So Akai was able to announce the LPD8 Wireless and release it the same week. I was only able to find it at sweetwater READY TO SHIP in limited quantities.

I didn't see it listed at Guitarcenter or zzounds, i'm not sure what places you guys use overseas so I didn't check those.

So maybe when ever they announce LIVE it will be available shortly after.

When this person told me about certain events, I just shut up. After I watched a portion of that video, the first thing I thought about was karma.

Black Friday release, just like "Eclipse", was a rumor from Guitar Center. I hope nobody was holding his breath.
However, I do hope Akai will get it out soon; hype will not last long, and people are buying stuff for Xmas (as well as blowing cash on Black Friday deals) already, and soon, they'll be broke. Now'd be the time.

My best guess is they'll take their time and present it all at NAMM.

Yeah right and when the Eclipse/Legacy and Live drops you are going to be the one to say that you knew it all along..

I'm guessing they will announce it at NAMM as well. Black Friday makes no sense when it exists specifically to move old stock to meet a yearly sales deadline. So it would make no sense to introduce a new product today. However they could introduce it in December and move a lot of units for the holidays if they're ready to ship.
