Hi there, bought my Touch a week or so ago, thought i'd use it to get ready for the Live when its released. Absolutely love it, but having some audio static noise problems when trying to use both Hybrid and The Bank. I even went out and bought a brand new laptop as the old one was below the recommended spec required by Touch.

Here's my setup:-

Laptop,
Win 10, brand new install, fully updated.
2.9Ghz
8 gig ram.

Ive got the Touch hooked up via USB to the lappy, running its own touch asio at 44.1 with the 1/4 outputs going directly to my monitors. I have tried adjusting the audio buffer size with no diference. I've tried the USB 2 and USB 3 ports on laptop. I've tried a different USB cable .... all to no difference.

It can't be a problem with the laptop not being up to scratch as Hybrid works perfectly when I run it within ableton live ..... even with the audio buffer size set to 128 ......

Any suggestions?

no, the static noise is there when just using the mpc on its own. If I run Hybrid in live it works fine. Havn't tried to run the mpc in live at all.

yes, I have a newer version that came with my akai apc mini, but I first experienced the problem after installing the touch version of hybrid, tried everything to no avail, so then installed the newer version of hybrid so I could at least test that my laptop was powerful enough, which it obviously is. I'm just doing a completely fresh install of all the mpc software etc ..... see it that helps.

That's bizarre. *Maybe* it has to do with having (had) two versions. If I was you, I'd probably delete the Hybrid plugin entirely, then do a reinstall.

Correct. The newer version had never been installed on this laptop, I only installed it after experiencing problems with the Touch bundled version of Hybrid.

Just completing the reinstall of Touch software/drivers, if that doesnt help i'll uninstall Hybrid and try again from scratch .......

Turned out to be a faulty unit, took it back to shop, they plugged it in their end and had same issues (but not with display model). They gave me a new unit, got it home, all working perfectly as it should do ...... Pheeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwww
