Hi All,
Just got myself an MPC 1000 to replace an ageing RM1X at the heart of my setup and seem to have hit a bit of a snag.
It seems like the machine doesn't generate MIDI clock unless a sequence is playing. Is that correct? I can't find a way to enable it anywhere...
I've found a couple of threads by searching on here that suggest that this is the case with the JJOS but is it the same with the Akai OS? Amazing that this would be left out if so.
Anyway, total showstopper for me if it can't be done as it means I can't use any of my external module's arpeggiator, delays or anything tempo synced without hitting play, which isn't especially conducive to jamming...
Any help appreciated as it's the one thing driving me mad about an otherwise superb sampler!
