Standalone vs Non-Standalone

But the real professionals probably won't have to use those, because they are in the position to get real instruments, synths, keyboards, modules, drummachines. Including professional players..

I mean you're talking about multiple outs and things of that nature but mostly everybody has at least one or two or a dozen high-end interfaces. why would you want more. If this is really for professional Advanced non hobbyist / amateur MPC users, why would you want to do that to your self. Just to be portable?

Some professionals like the sound of outboard gear, like a real Studer reel to reel or LA2A compressor, Neve mixing board with pre-amps. So yes, this is for real professionals and not even a matter of being portable.

I didn't get amnesia on the reason why I got rid of all my old MPCs. It's because of time issues and keeping up with modern times. I mean if we were just making beats that nobody needed 2 use or anything I would love my MPC standalone. I wouldn't have a reason to track out my sequences.

Never had timing issues when using my hardware samplers. Had more than a few with DAW's and VST plugins and instruments though... You clearly have no idea what you are talking about, or what and how a real professional producer, mixing engineer working ethics are.

I don't even understand why there is a debate. Those who have been wanting a standalone unit, Im happy for them honestly. I don't think it'll be $3000. I'm sure it will be in the high 1000 to low 2000. I'm cool with a Ren like unit with just PC integration. I think its dope that we both get what we want out the deal. We can all stick to what we prefer and deal with what comes with it whether positive or negative...it comes with the game. I've had MPC's from 2000xl to the 2500. I never traveled with any of them not even the 1000...but that's me. I personally like using vst's in my MPC software. It's MY solution not everyone else. I appreciate the new sh!t as well as the vintage. It's a great idea and I hope it works out.

Telling somebody who's really into using a standalone not to do it just because you're not into them is like telling someone into playing real guitars to use a guitar VST just because you like them so much or telling someone into buying real books to try using PDFs instead.
Let people enjoy their preferences. There's space for them all.
